See Purple Think Rugby

As part of our mission to support women's and youth rugby we are happy to announce the launch of our "See Purple Think Rugby' Campaign.

With USA Rugby looking at a $1 million deficit in the budget one of the major event to be hit is going to be the women's national team for this year's Women's Rugby World Cup in Ireland.

Camps are rumored to be covered, and players wont have to pay too much out of pocket so to speak, but they will be hit hard financially nonetheless.

Whilst training for a month players will be expected to take the time off work, many unpaid, some will have to find a new job altogether; players will still have to pay rent where they live and will also be expected to find somewhere to rent whilst at training camp.

This means, whilst not directly paying for the camps, players can expect the world cup preparations to be costing them personally in the region of $5,000 to $10,000.

With this in mind we would like to launch our campaign a little early, and establish the following goals;

1. No Player training for the world cup should have to pay out of pocket, whether they make the final squad or not.

2. No Player that competes at the Women's Rugby World Cup in Ireland this summer should be out of pocket by the time they return.

We need your help to make this happen. All profits from our 'See Purple Think Rugby' Campaign will be split 50/50 between our parent company, Betterwithteammates Foundation and the Women's Eagles Squad for the World Cup, whether they actually travel to Ireland to play in the Tournament or not, until the date of the last game they play in Ireland. From that date forward all profits will go towards after school sports programs for disadvantaged youth and to provide support to increase opportunities for women to play the game.

Life is better with teammates and this team needs our help to be able to go and represent all of us.

Please like, share and comment using the #betterwithteammates and #seepurplethinkrugby

Thank You
